Miss. Molina
Howdy,
My name Denise Molina and I have been teaching for about eleven years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Science, a Master's degree in Science Curriculum and Instruction and am currently working on a Doctorate degree in Science. I have taught both 6th, 7th grade Science, and I am currently teaching 8th grade Science. I am the assistant coach for 7th and 8th grade tennis. I enjoy spending time with my horses (my favorite animal) and our seven dogs (5 chihuahuas). I enjoy drawing, working outside in our yard and or pastures, and volunteering at the zoo (when time permits). It is important to build community with our classrooms in order to have successful students. We allow students to participate through discussion and cooperation to learn a sense of accountability and responsibility. In our classroom, we try to lay down the foundation of science content and vocabulary, with hands-on activities to reinforce what we have learned. We hope to get our students to enjoy and appreciate science and to aspire to continue to learn about science - all the answers to any question are found in Nature. Later, D. Molina |
